Datça, Iske Datça and the Esme Sultan

Mesudiye, Turkey

After a breakfast consisting of eggs and bacon, we headed back to a little bit more of civilization to Datça. On the way we took a right to head for the old houses of Datça. Here we found my birthday presents. A silver ring with a milk opal and the Hand of Fatima as an opal. We then went to the harbor for a coffee, looking at tiny yachts and having my handbag repaired which was a birthday present I received 4 years ago in Turkey. On the way back to Palamutbükü we took the „scenic“ route. I am not a friend of twists and turns and serpentine roads. When we finally got out of the car I felt slightly nauseous. So much to enjoying the view. In the late afternoon we headed for the local restaurant where we played Skippo and Kniffle. Afterwards we had dinner and headed back to the house for an evening of television.
