It was late last night and we were over 12 hours on our feet. So this means we were a bit tired. Thankfully our destination Stratford-upon-Avon wasn’t that far away. The drive took us through The Cotswolds. We stopped at the Roman Villa and decided to have a look and the road was very narrow. Upon arriving we decided not to spend the money.
After checking our itinerary we decided to drive to Broadway a picturesque town and typical for the Cotswolds. We need to find out what is so special about the Cotswolds. We saw numerous Jaguars, a few Bentleys, a Rolls Royce and some Porsche. The shops were art shops and the restaurants classy.
A short stop at the Broadway Tower and then we reached our B&B „Monks‘ Barn“. Exhausted we took a nap and then headed downtown. The attraction of Shakespeare’s birthplace was closed, so we took a picture of the building.
Tomorrow we are destination is York.
