We left home quite early as this time we’re flying from Düsseldorf and not from Hamburg. Not a single traffic jam on the way. The parking garage was completely full, but we did manage to find a spot. headed to the Sky Train and thankfully due to Internet we knew where to get off. Contrary to Miami, there was no information from the airport which airlines could be found in which terminal. We were so early, that the check in was still closed. So we decided to have some lunch and ate some delicious pizza. The waitress was a gem. What a good way to start a vacation. Now we’re watching the soccer match France vs Ireland. 41 minutes have passed and Ireland is leading. Our flight was delayed for an hour, so we had to see the unfortunate end of the Euro2016 for the Boy in Green. Our arrival in Cork went off without a hitch. Our rental car counter was empty except for us. Our car is unexpectedly bigger than what we booked, we are now driving a Nissan Qashqai in red. On the way to Waterville we stopped at a Lidl, because our landlords informed us that the key is in the cottage door, so no one was waiting for us. We arrived before dark and were stunned by the beautiful landscape and the cuteness of the house. We unpacked, opened two cans of Guinness and were blissfully happy. Breakfast tomorrow morning at Lakelands B&B.
