When we arrived back at the hotel after our snorkeling trip, we showered and headed for Miami. Our stop was near Ocean Drive. At the end we decided a trip to Miami is only worthwhile if you spend the night there as that is when most of the action takes place and everything is colorful and lighted. We had a stop at Finnegans Bar to have something to drink and watch Croatia beat England in the World Cup. Otherwise I was a bit overwhelmed my the skyscrapers, the traffic and the size. We had also underestimated the distance to Key Largo. Spending the morning in the water was also tiring. So Miami will be visited again sometime in the future. Maybe it also was that on this vacation nature was the main theme.

When we arrived back in Key Largo we decided to have dinner at The Fish House. Eric’s first comment was “Fish, again?”. Of course when I can have fresh fish I will eat it. This vacation is also all about eating things we never get to eat in Germany. So we had a wonderful tasty dinner with fish. Back at the hotel it was time for bed.
