We have been trying to keep fit during this vacation and not be completely lazy. So Eric and Karsten have been running in the mornings. When we get back, Eric is participating in a 5 km run, so he needs to practice. I swam 40 laps in our pool this morning ( pool is approximately 8.5 meters long). We sunbathed, read, had spaghetti for lunch. In the afternoon we played Skippo, accompanied by a severe thunderstorm. Eric was really shaking, as we sat outdoors and the lightning lit up the sky and the thunder crashed in ear deafening booms. After one lightning flash, we saw some smoke go up. It rained really hard for nearly two hours. In the end we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow.
