Boston Massachusetts, MA

Last night I decided to join the others for dinner. Turned out we were only three as the rest went clubbing and I was the only one that ordered something to eat and the other two something to drink.

Well if you’re ever in Boston: AVOID the restaurant Back Deck on West Street. They ripped us off!
When we put the money into the folder for the waitress we had three 20’s and the rest with a tip. Well, when we were leaving the waitress stopped us and confronted us with the statement that we hadn’t paid the full price. When she counted it out, one 20 was missing. We had no choice but to give her another 20 and leave fully upset.

The night was another disaster too, the building across the street is under construction and they actually worked at 3:30 this morning. Argh….
I also forgot to mention that the rooms have no clothes hangers. I’m not a negative person, but the evening really went into the morning. Thankfully class was alright today. A bit I can use in my classes.

Some of us (the older ones 😉 ) are suffering from homesickness. But we found a wonderful way to cure it. Good company is always the best and we have definitely have found good company, good food and good wine a lot of laughs. All and all a wonderful ending to a day that wasn’t looking all to bright in the morning.

So no pictures today. But all is silent outside (we found out that it is normal here that construction is done during the night ???!!!???). So off to bed and a new day ahead.
