Lazy Sunday……

O.k a little bit. I did sleep longer and took awhile to get ready. Breakfast was served at 10:30 so I had some time. I actually read a book. Not one of my study books, but a real book. It wasn’t easy to put down and funny thing is, when I grabbed it at B&N, I just liked the cover and the title, but the story plot is in: IRELAND.
I’ve been here a week now and a feeling of home and homesickness washes over me. I really enjoy my fellow students. I met a few at breakfast this morning, but I really would love to go through Boston with my family and of course visit some Irish Pubs.
While the others decided to cycle through Boston, I was off without any real goal and just let myself drift along today. So I did some non-stop walking. I wandered off and found myself on the Freedom Trail once again, but this time heading in the opposite direction. The day was beautiful and so I wandered to Paul Reveres house and was astounded at what little space people were happy with. And this was a middle-class home. I continued on and found myself once again strolling through a cemetery. In a way I guess it is better to be on my own. Cemeteries do attract me, can’t say why.
I then slowly walked back to the residence hall and at the moment I’m not quite sure what to do or eat. I really would love a homecooked meal, but even though the solitude is fine, I’m not in the mood to sit in a restaurant by myself tonight. Subway, McDonalds?? Finish off the box of Triscuits?
Tomorrow I’m back in class. Another week, not quite and I’ll be home with my family.
